No matter how thick my wall is
or how tall it stands
to this day your the only one who can get through
with such ease
You sigh and my bricks come down like loose sheets of paper
No one in this world has that ability
but you
and I think
I hate you for that

Let these lights inspire you
I wish I was in the big city
under the stars
you on my arm
whisper in my ear
everything will be okay
In New York where dreams come true
not only residing
in this empty little head
at night when the world is quiet
and everything is motionless
But my dreams
while the sun is up
and the sidewalks are bustled
riding the marble elevator
to the PH floor
that holds everything
my little heart desires
Like:
Success
Stability
Security
Sanctity
Sanity
I dont need your heart
not right now
give me the world
so I can sit on top
Now your in New York <3
Empire State of Mind <3>
Yea I'm out that Brooklyn, now I'm down in TriBeCa
right next to Deniro, but I'll be hood forever
I'm the new Sinatra, and... since I made it here
I can make it anywhere, yea, they love me everywhere
I used to cop in Harlem, all of my Dominicano's
right there up on Broadway, pull me back to that McDonald's
Took it to my stashbox, 560 State St.
catch me in the kitchen like a Simmons with them Pastry's
Cruisin' down 8th St., off white Lexus
drivin' so slow, but BK is from Texas
Me, I'm out that Bed-Stuy, home of that boy Biggie
now I live on Billboard and I brought my boys with me
Say what's up to Ty-Ty, still sippin' mai tai's
sittin' courtside, Knicks & Nets give me high five
Nigga I be Spike'd out, I could trip a referee
Tell by my attitude that I'm most definitely from....
New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of
There's nothin' you can't do
Now you're in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you
Let's hear it for New York, New York,
New York
Catch me at the X with OG at a Yankee game
Shit, I made the Yankee hat more famous then a Yankee can
You should know I bleed blue, but I ain't a Crip though
but I got a gang of niggas walkin' with my clique though
Welcome to the melting pot, corners where we sellin' rock
Afrika Bambataa shit, home of the hip-hop
Yellow cab, gypsy cab, dollar cab, holla back
for foreigners it ain't for, they act like they forgot how to act
8 million stories, out there in it naked
City, it's a pity, half of y'all won't make it
Me, I got a plug, Special Ed "I Got It Made"
If Jeezy's payin' LeBron, I'm payin' Dwyane Wade
Three dice cee-lo, three Card Monty
Labor Day Parade, rest in peace Bob Marley
Statue of Liberty, long live the World Trade
Long live the King yo, I'm from the Empire State that's
Lights is blinding, girls need blinders
so they can step out of bounds quick, the sidelines is
lined with casualties, who sip to life casually
then gradually become worse, don't bite the apple leaf
Caught up in the in-crowd, now you're in style
End of the winter gets cold, en vogue, with your skin out
City of sin, it's a pity on the wind
Good girls gone bad, the city's filled with them
Mami took a bus trip, now she got her bust out
Everybody ride her, just like a bus route
Hail Mary to the city, you're a virgin
And Jesus can't save you, life starts when the church end
Came here for school, graduated to the high life
Ball players, rap stars, addicted to the limelight
MDMA got you feelin' like a champion
The city never sleeps, better slip you an Ambien
One hand in the air for the big city
Street lights, big dreams, all lookin' pretty
No place in the world that could compare
Put your lighters in the air
Everybody say "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"
right next to Deniro, but I'll be hood forever
I'm the new Sinatra, and... since I made it here
I can make it anywhere, yea, they love me everywhere

Epic Failure

Dancing+Michelle=Epic Failure
Now I have to do this homework assignment for my nonfiction class...I have no idea what I am doing hmmm lovely. I should really be doing it now...but....ehhhh
What really gets me is the workshop classes I have for my fiction and nonfiction, or any workshop in general.
Like everyone sits in a circle and all eyes are on you. You turn in your piece the week before so everyone has read it and they are ready. Sometimes it goes nicely and people have constructive criticism then there are the other workshops. Where everyone rips you apart and your leaving the class with a new asshole. I have seen several friends cry...yes cry....from workshopping and just last week I saw a great writer get ripped apart for the stupidest thing, while someone else turned in a for shit piece that seriously made me question how they made it to the advanced class and everyone was so blase about it. I just sit back like am I the only sane person in this room?!
And seriously if I hear that bitch in history class say one more thing about grammar I am going to fucking chuck my book at the back of her head.
K thanks
xoxo
Pump it
So...I bought a krumping video
I tried to do what the guy (tight eyez) was doing
I dont think he ever thought a blonde white girl would be trying his DVD
because seriously....dvd # 1 is too advanced for me....
lmao omg I am a hot mess

I can only wait so long
its been five months
It is crazy what one summer can do to your life
Five months since I drove away from that empty parking lot that held a piece of my heart that I never got back
Kind of like that 20 that D took, better my money then my heart, but L has had that for a long time. Maybe its time I took it back, let someone else hold it for a little while. See if they are good with puzzles. Put the pieces back together again. Except I am going to need something stronger than glue to keep me together.
Bless you five months.
Grieve
Gain
Grow
Take a step forward
let the water pull you back
as long as you swim at an angle
the current cant control you anymore
Goodbye, I loved you more than anyone else. But I cant love you anymore. Im sorry, I need to move on, its someone else's turn to try for forever. Over a year ago you walked away and never came back, I waited, I can only wait so long.
